In the Mansion
The Entrance Hall
welcomes guests in the grand manner of Colonial days and the Nineteenth Century. The carved bannister leads the eye upward to the the third floor, while the floor's hand-painted pattern makes no effort to hide its charming irregularity. The elegant settee and oil painting are reflected in the great pierglass opposite.
The Living Room
features an inviting fireplace and grand piano. An antique Carlton House desk, coffee table and chairs arranged on a Tabriz rug complete the comfortable scene.
The Dining Room
seats as many as eight guests and is furnished with several fine Oriental pieces, including an exceptional Japanese mizuya. The dining table and chairs are centered on a fine old Bukhara rug.
The Library,
which features a fireplace, also serves as a cheerful breakfast room. The refectory table opens to serve as many as eight guests.
The Second Floor, Northwest Corner, Guestroom
overlooks the front yard and woods. It is furnished in traditional Federal-style decor. The four-poster canopy bed is flanked by a pair of bedside tables with reading lamps. An antique walnut armoire, dresser and two comfortable fauteuils complete the setting. Valances crown the floor-length sheer curtains that cover the three six-over six windows. The full bath has a shower stall.
The Second floor, Northeast Corner, Guestroom
overlooks the rear porch and yard. It is furnished in traditional Federal-style decor. The four-poster tester bed is flanked by a pair of bedside tables with reading lamps. An antique walnut armoire, dresser and two comfortable fauteuils complete the setting. Valances crown the floor-length tied-back sheer curtains that cover the two six-over six windows. The full bath has a shower stall.
The Third Floor, North, Guestroom

It is furnished in traditional American Empire decor. The sleigh bed is flanked by a pair of bedside tables with reading lamps. An antique dresser and Tiffany-style lamp, deal table and two comfortable fauteuils complete the setting. Lace curtains adorn the two six-over six windows. The full bath has a tub with shower.

overlooks the front yard and woods. It is furnished chiefly with colonial American pine pieces. The cannon-ball bed is flanked by a bedside table and reading lamps. An antique dresser, writing table and comfortable side chair complete the setting. Lace curtains adorn the two six-over six windows. The full bath has a tub with shower.
